these patients apparently jump to a new
level of conscioussness that prohibits the

 The word denoted a discrete jump from
one level of functioning to a higher level –
the quantum leap. Quantum is also a
technical term, once known only to
physicists but now growing in popular
usage. Formally, a quantum is ” the
indivisible unit in which wawes can be
emitted or absorbed” Stephen Hawking 15

definitions, the discrete jump to a higher
level and the irreducible level of force –
appear to apply to certain cases. Therefore
Id like to introduce the term quantum
healing. Although the term is new,the
process itself is not. 16
 Yet everyonne possesses conscioussness.
Perhaps these miracles are extensions of
normal abilities. When a body mends a
broken bone, why is that not a miracle?As
a healing process, it is certainly complex,
far too complex for medicine to duplicate.
It involves an incredible number of
perfectly sychronized processes, of which
medicine knows only the major ones and
those imperfectly. 16
 Quantum healing moves away from the
external, high technology methods toward
the deepest core of the mind-body system.
This core is where healing begins. To go
there and to learn to promote the healing
response, you must get past all the grosser
levels of the body – cells- tissues- organs,
and systems – and arrive at the juction
point between mind and matter, the point
where conscioussness actually starts to
have an effect. 18

secure than does the mind, which has
proved impossible to define after many

centuries trying to hold on to the idea that

here too. Otherwise the body´s chemistry
would be a jumble of floating molecules
instead of incredibly ordered and precice
machinery that it so obviously is. 34
