Today Pakistan is facing a lot of social problems
but some are very common in Pakistan, which
are destroying our society and also economy of
Pakistan.
Like Child Labour, Poverty, Illiteracy, Population
growth, terrorism, smuggling, drug abuse etc.
The topic which I have selected is Child Labour
it is a global issue.
Child Labour is one of the most common
problems in Asia and also in Pakistan.

In undeveloped countries
Is Still High
International conventions
defines children as age 18 and
under is a child.
"Child" and "childhood" are
also defined differently by
different cultures. A "child" is
not necessarily delineated by a
fixed age.
In Pakistan, age under 16
years consider to be a child
and in India it considers under
14 years.
Child Labour is work of children
that harms them or exploits them
in some way e.g
Physically
Mentally
Morally or blocking access to
education
United Nations
International Childrens
Emergency Fund (UNICEF)
defines child as anyone
below the age of 18, and
Child Laabour as some
type of work performed by
children below 18
In Pakistan children aged 5-14 are above 40 million
During the last year, the Federal Bureau of statistics
released the results of its survey funded by ILOs,
IPEC. The findings were that 3.8 million children age
group of 5-14 years are children in this age group.
Fifty percent of these economically active children
are in age group of 5 to 9 years. Even out of these
3.8 million economically active children, 2.7 million
were claimed to be working in agriculture sector.
73% of them were said to be boys.
Lack of education Uneducated
Poverty leading life below the poverty line
Ignorance dont know the importance of
education.
Backward areas class based system
Population Increase in population
Law failure in implementation

A large proportion of children whom the ILO
classifies as child labourers work in
agriculture.
Work ranges from taking care of animals and
planting, harvesting food, too many kinds of
small manufacturing (e.g., bricks, cement,
auto repairs and making of foot wears and
textiles etc.)

Violation of Laws
Moral Rights

The children are working as a labour in school
going age for the survival of their families and
to fulfill the basic necessities.
People dont know the importance of
education. Thats why most of the children
remain illiterate.
It is not just responsibility of government we
are also responsible for that.
Awareness must be raised and parents should
pay attention to the education of their
children.
Child Labour laws should be strictly put into
practice.
If we want success then we have to act upon
these principles and then our country can can
easily get rid of this problem.
We have to distribute the education free of
cost, give flame to the candle of education
and distribute the light of knowledge among
the people because our Holy Prophet (PBUH)
also said that get knowledge and distribute
among others
