With the Union human resource development ministry giving 'in principle' clearance for an
'Education Hub' proposed at Jawaharnagar, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development
Authority (HMDA) has decided to approach Centres of Excellence by engaging an agency.

A blue print for the Education Hub has already been prepared by HMDA by earmarking
about 700 acres of land, which include 500 acres for setting up campuses and 200 acres for
supporting facilities like roads, dormitories and auditoriums
