Part 8 Ez.28 You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, Satan went from full and complete access to God and the throne to NO accessNONE! I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, he who does not enter by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way (elsewhere, from some other quarter) is a thief and a robber. Jn.10:1 The year: Ayin Dalet or the year of the open door. The movement of coming from or going into the tent. One can move back into or out from tents of isolation. Abraham in Gen.15:5 and He brought him outside his tent and said. some other way are doors WE open for satan mainly through DISOBEDIENCE. The word disobedience has various forms of meaning. 1. Rebellion/defiance Isa.1:19-20; Heb.10:26 2. Ignorance/lack of knowledgeLev.4:27-32; Eph.4:17-20; Acts17:29-31; Hos.4:6 3. Carelessness/cold loveDeut.11:16-17; Rev.3:14-22
There are many ways in which we open the door to the enemy. Jesus taught thus: Mark 4The parable of the sower 4 types of soil: wayside, stony, thorns, good 1 common enemy Only 1 good result While the disobedience all leads to the same end, God who is rich in MERCY keeps bringing us INTO simple obedience. Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him Heb.2:1-3 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted. Heb.2:14-18 Gods aid is NOT His overlooking sin but giving you the POWER to overcome it! Grace is NOT God ignoring your disobedience but His giving you the desire and power to CONQUER it! Ph.2:13 Make NO mistake here. If you are in willful sin you are OUTSIDE of Gods mercy and grace. Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, Acts 3:17 Two key words: 1. Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your sorrow led to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer loss from us in nothing. For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner: What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things you proved yourselves to be clear in this matter. 2 Cor.7:9-11 7 Characteristics of true repentance: 1. Carefulness-diligence, haste, eagerness 2. Gods servant must not be argumentative, but a gentle listener and a teacher who keeps cool, working firmly but patiently with those who refuse to obey. You never know how or when God might sober them up with a change of heart and a turning to the truth, enabling them to escape the Devils trap, where they are caught and held captive, forced to run his errands.
if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will. Repentance removes the groundwork of satan beneath his feet. It involves in judging yourself and owning where you are wrong.
