Brief spot about Hypermedias milestones
Hypermedia was the first start-up in Israel to develop GSM devices.
The first line of products were analog based

2 analog lines adapter for 2 GSM SIM card. ( One of the first
to success at the global market )

Later, products based ISDN were developed:

The first rack mountable product was the HG3000. It
converted ISDN E1/T1 to GSM and vice-versa. This product
became the powerful one to reduce costs at SMB for
TDM based PBXs.

Brief spot about Hypermedias milestones
Hypermedia was one of the first GSM gateways manufacturers to develop VoIP to GSM
gateways when the market of PBXs started to flow from TDM based to VoIP based.

The HG-4000. VoIP GSM gateway that supports SIP/H.323
protocols and lots of global telephony features as LCR
(Least Cost Routing ), White list/Black list, IP filtering and
more.

Reducing costs applications

Callback/Callthrough products were developed
specially to reduce costs at SMB. The enormous
advantage was the VPN groups of mobile clients
that enable the SMB to reduce up to 70% of their
expenses on worker calls using LCR.

Provides to developers a full platform for SMS Sending. It
can be used for spam, marketing campaigns, internal use
of a SMB, etc.

Mobile applications

Nowadays the Smart-Phones ( Iphone, Nokia,etc) are
creating a very big market at the mobile world.
Hypermedia develops user-friendly applications for smart
mobiles that can completely reduce the mobile costs by
using the Callback/Callthrough/Calls over WI-FI/3G
advantages.

What is Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM)

GSM is the world's most popular standard for mobile telephony systems. The end user
(the cellphone) has a unique ID ( IMEI ) and a unique SIM (Subscriber Identity
Module). This networks is based on mobility between sites, the main core ( MSC )
knows where the suscribers are located and routes the calls via the BSCs and BTSs
located at their zone.
