Like the Nation Person or the Desh-Purush
We can look at the Manav Purush or the
humanity and we see that, Like the Nation-
Person ,He (or She?),The Manav-Purush too
Produces and Consumes (PMSS) goods or
services collectively with all Nation-Persons.

What is civilisation?
Simple:Human civilisation is the
social process of creating higher
and higher levels of PMSS* order or
organisation in society and its
individuals..(, or also in its products or services , using
the Innate PMSS Energies at its disposal as well as using the
resource base of Nature ).

What is the Primary Unit of
Civilisation ?
The God Particles like You and Me,
who are the citizens of the
Nation/Humanity !
What is Civilisation at the
Individual Level ?
Spiritually Disciplined and cultured
uses of ones PMSS energies and
skills for the betterment of PMSS
values of the self and of those
around (by absorbing right PMSS values for Oness Goals Of
Serving Society through ones PMSS values).

What is Culture ?
Culture ,is concern for all those
around us,including Nature, flora,
fauna, neighbourhood, kith, kins and
so on..
What is the link between Culture and
Civilisation ?
One can think of a nations Civilisation ,-and then the
human civilisation- as guided by the cultural choice of
products and services for purpose of consumption of the
PMSS* Values of these products and services.
Following Edward Demings principle that ultimately people
consume the values (called utils by economists) of the products
or services,we can say that a person taking a biscuit /bread
enjoys its status, functional or fashionable values (depending on
the price and where or from whom one gets it).
But it is the culture that prompts one to eat meat or
biscuit/bread and so on in any consumption activity of a
Nation,modulated of course by economic/ situational
choices.

The principles of Production
In the economy of a nation, all good production
processes create higher level of orderliness in their
products, than their starting materials.
Thus in a Software code piece,the human intelligible alphabets are coverted into machine executable
commands.But a writer of a fiction uses the same alphabets in a different way to create a pattern or
say ordered feelings in the minds of the reader.
Similarly the starting material for a car, somewhere in the beginning of its supply chain are few
kilograms of steel,plastic ,etc (but still farther down the line,these existed as a form of sand or
ore.)

Similarly, usage of such products and services raises the PMSS
orderliness of the consumers of these products or
services.,temporarily or permanently .For example taking a
sandwich improves oens physical energy for sometime,whereas
learning to drive ones car requires more self organisation than
walking on the street,and is more longterm.

So,higher the civilisation,higher the organisation or ordering within the society itself
so as to produce or consume products and services of higher PMSS * values or
Worth.

Continually Progressive Society Has to be a
Continually Learning Society to continually raise its
PMMS values and skills with respect to Production
and Consumption.

right spiritual values that that shapes the right PMS
aspirations of Individuals
