Its a sense of strain to the psychological and physical body this can be caused by social situation. This affects everyone in one way or another. Is socioeconomic status related to stress levels?
What is CAM CAM is alternatives for conventional biomedicine. These types of practices are various and from place around the world. These therapies include: herbal medicine, homeopathy, Exercising/yoga faith healing, acupuncture, energy healing, chiropractic, naturopathy, massage, music therapy. Yoga Yoga is an ancient science made up of different disciplines of mind and body. Breathing, posture, etc. It originated in India about 2500 years ago and is still practiced in bringing overall health and well being to any person who does it frequently.

Results Ohio State- 60-80% of outpatient visits may be related to stress. Adults have the psychological stressors that can undermine their work performance. Distress is an increasing public health problem and Hatha yoga has been claimed to induce stress reduction and empowerment in practicing subjects. Results Emotion
Findings showed that psychiatric in-patients improved their negative emotion because of yoga. (Lavey et. al, 2005, p. 401) Yoga has been found to improve not only the perception of stress but its psychological impact on the endocrine system and the immune system. (Diamond, 2011, p.) This topic is important because stress and anxiety is a major issue in the United States-prescribing holistic methods like yoga could reduce prescription costs and complications.
Policy that can be implemented A policy that could be implemented in todays health care system and doctor offices is offering additional methods for stress/pain rather than a strictly pharmaceutical approach.
Workplaces with higher stress factors should consider a yoga session offered to the employees to reduce the stress in the environment.
Another policy implication from this research is coverage of holistic medicine by health insurance plans.
