To organize and conduct weekly meetings in the presence of Faculty Mentor
on any weekday between 4.30 pm 5.30 pm.
Data base of personal record of the mentee to be maintained (e-mail ID,
Contact details of Mentee and their parents)
Guidance to be provided in the following areas
(i) Saturday club activity
(ii) How to perform better in academics and to prepare for University Exams
(iii) Behavioral aspects of the Mentee
(iv) A better outlook towards future- Positive Attitude
(v) Punctuality for class sessions and meetings
(vi) Frequent interactions with Mentee- may eat dinner with them
(vii) Educate them to follow the discipline rules of the Institute (shouting in
hostel- late nights, drying of clothes, usage of music system, not to be out of
rooms after 10 pm, etc)
(viii) Importance of Personal Grooming
Role of Mentor
To Sign the leave applications of the mentee (Sem- I & Sem-
III)
If required F.M. can talk to the parents before forwarding the
leave application to the Batch Coordinators or Senior Mentors
can talk to parents
To inculcate a habit of English Speaking among the Mentees
Help the Mentees to handle stress and how to deal with new
processes being implemented with a positive attitude
Cleanliness & Hygiene in Canteen- leaving waste on tables
Wastage of food and other items be reduced
Coordinate with student mentees during an activity being
organized by them
During this process the students should learn the basic
Management Skills like- Time Management, Forward
Planning, Coordination with team, seniors and peer group.
Monitor Yoga attendance of the Mentees.




Role of Faculty Mentor
Kindly get two applications signed first by the mentor
and then the Batch Coordinator
Submit ONE application to Batch Coordinator and
SECOND copy to the Hostel Warden
Planned leaves to be taken in Advance
ON all days whatever time students need to move out
of Campus- Out Pass needs to be signed by the
MENTOR, in absence of the MENTOR it can be
signed by the Batch Co-ordinator, in absence of both
it can be signed by the DIRECTOR.
Parents if visiting students should NOT be going to
the Hostel without prior permission

9PM
Only during unforeseen circumstances calls allowed beyond
this time.
