In other words, the stress response of an individual


occurs when we feel we cannot control, handle or
resolve a situation, yet we are unable to leave or
get away from the thing that is causing our stress.

EUSTRESS & DISTRESS
Eustress, a type of positive stress is actually good for
your body. It is basically a desirable form of stress which
is healthful and gives a feeling of contentment. It keeps
you excited about life.
E.g. :being offered a job promotion
Distress occurs when an individual cannot adapt to
stress. It's a negative stress leading to mental agitation.
