CHAPTER 5

EXPERIMENTS AND TEST

Back ground
An experiment is an investigation carried out
under controlled conditions in order to discover
an unknown effect or to test or establish a
hypothesis.
A test is a means of critical examination aimed
at evaluating the characteristics of engineering
design.
They require careful planning prior to execution.
