7. May perform related duties as assigned; may participate in special projects and efforts
to improve unit effectiveness.
8. Participates in organizing and implementing special events including conferences and
receptions.
9. Maintains legislative contacts by campus for lobbying report.
10. Drafts documents such as legislative bill memos and maintains files/records and time
sensitive information.
11. Manages the Director''s complex calendar, prioritizes meeting requests, and secures
travel arrangements.

1. Bachelor''s Degree required.
2. Two (2) years of legislative experience supporting a senior level executive
in a complex public, private or government organization preferred
3. Detail oriented and accurate with strong analytical, evaluative, and
research skills
4. Effective editing, proofreading, and oral/writing communication skills
5. Energetic, flexible, and customer focused with strong interpersonal skills
to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and
constituencies in a diverse community
