Our

project is a PHP application. This project was taken up and

developed with an intention to provide to its customers a virtual
means of shopping. This project is designed primarily on the
hypothesis that the cost of opening and maintaining large number
of full-fledged shops in each and every city literally runs into
crores of rupees. In lieu of the ever increasing rates of the
property, huge costs involved in the constructions, sky rising
salaries etc. it is advisable that the existing shopping malls should
look for some other way of serving their customers effectively.
The user can visit the companys website and order products as
per their Requirement. The selected goods shall be delivered on
the spot at the collection counter or the customers home
depending upon his/her choice. The customers will not be required
to carry the cash either if they wish to avail the credit card services
of the portal.

Our

project is implementing an E-Commerce Model for

an organization to help them is retaining their
manufactured goods online. We are implementing the
Project for a Company Named Plus Healthcare which is a
manufacturer of International Quality Medical Heating
products like Kneepads, Heating Pads, Medical Water
Bes etc. We need to develop a E-Commerce enabled
website for the company so that they can sell their
products online and customers can easily order the
products at their own ease.

Our

project aim is to develop a E-Commerce enabled website for the

We have following modules in our project:
Online Shopping Section: This Section will enable internet users to log
on to application select products from the online catalog, the can select
products from the catalog and add to their shopping cart.
Advertising section: Advertisers in the website can first register
themselves and then place simple and premium ads.
Administrative section: The administration can have a total control on
the website by deleting ads etc. Administrator can also add funds on
any users account.
Payment Gateway System: The system works in the following manner.

Login:

This module will allow the shoppers to register them with the shopping mall and get their
personal User ID and Password. This also enables them to avail the credit card facility offered by the
shopping mall.
Online Shopping:This module will be designed to present the shopper with an appealing interface
where he will be able to browse through the various catalogues and select the items he wishes to shop.
He will have to select the item and put it into the virtual shopping cart. Thats all! He will be prompted
for payment that can be done through cash, cheque or card.
Credit Card Processing:This module will be responsible to maintain the database of all the credit cards
issued by the mall and keep track of all the transactions done through them. It will notify for expiry
dates, exceeding limits or renewals etc as and when required.
Delivery: This module will constantly check for the availability of all the listed items in stock and
ensures their timely delivery and the corresponding updation of the databases. It will keep a vigil on
the item levels and if any item falls below the emergency level, it will notify the procurement
department to fulfill the deficiency.
Administration: This module will allow some authorized users to access the databases directly in order
to make necessary changes in case of emergency. This will also allow the owner/ manager of the caf
to view the current status and print the reports viz. Monthly Sale Summary, Daily Reports, Complaints
filed by the customers, Financial Statements etc.

Now a Days Computers are finding their place in every
nook and corner of our life, we are trying to implement
the system that will give customers a facility of
shopping at their convenience from their home by
shopping through the online shopping module

The various advantages of the proposed System are:

Ease of Access to the customers as they can now shop
from their homes with ease without even stepping out of
their homes
Easy Management for the company owners as they can
view reports and manage the company operations through
easy to use interface.
Centralized Database for easy management.
Users can buy products online by using credit cards or
even they can pay for the products at the time of delivery.

 Corrective

maintenance: It means repairing

processing or performance failures or making changes
because of previously uncorrected problems or false
assumptions.
Adaptive maintenance: It means changing the
program function
Perfective maintenance: It means enhancing the
performance or modifying the programs to respond to
the user`s additional or changing needs.
Of these types more time and money are spent on
perfective than on corrective and adaptive maintenance
together.
