ADVANTAGES
Low cost system
Less noise
Reliable components
Easy to develop

19

DISADVANTAGES
Communication possible through line
of sight only
If any obstacles are there in between
the medium sound cant be reached to
receiver
Hum noise is present in the presence
of ac light sources and direct sun light

20

APPLICATIONS
Can communicate without any cost
except the instrument cost.
It can be used in the places where
one side communication takes place
like instructions given to workers etc.

CONCLUSION
Here we successfully demonstrated the
voice transmission through laser.
We replaced the costly fiber optical
means by cheap laser source and makes
the system wireless.
The range of this communication is much
more than that of the fiber optic modes
and it depends on the range of the laser
source being used in the system.
This laser voice communication is best
suited for the point to point
communication.
