What an idea.!
Small business dont
have a chance before.
Now they just have to
focus on their
specialization and
other IT solutions will
be outsourced(thats
the power of cloud
computing).

Architecture Service Models:

IAAS
Computing Power and
storage capacity is

Control over IT

Allocate Staff to
maintain and manage
apps.

PAAS
Run time environment provided to

Only responsibility is Development,
maintenance and management of the

Instantly.
No need for capital cost for setup of

Types of cloud

Virtualization
Virtual workspaces:
An abstraction of an execution environment
that can be made dynamically available to
authorised clients by using well-defined
protocols,
Resource quota (e.g. CPU, memory share),
Software configuration (e.g. O/S, provided
services).
Implement on Virtual Machines (VMs):
Abstraction of a physical host machine,

Conventional Computing

Cloud Computing
Cloud

Conventional

Dedicated Hardware
Fixed Capacity
Pay for Capacity
Capital & Operational
Expenses

Shared Hardware
Elastic Capacity
Pay for Use
Operational Expenses

Advantages:
Pay as you use!!

Cost efficient
Almost unlimited storage
Backup and Recovery
Automatic software
integration
Easy access to information
Quick deployment

Disadvantage:

Technical issues
Security in the cloud
Prone to attack

Conclusion
Cloud computing is the next big wave in
computing. It has many benefits, such as
better hardware management.It also
provides forbetter and easier
management of data security, since all
the data is located on a central server, so
administrators can control who has and
doesn't have access to the files. There
are some down sides as well to cloud
computing.
