Blended Learning
Case
Scenario:
A university has two categories of subject in each department; one is
Hard-Core and second is Soft-Core and it has many options to opt by
students.
Hard-Core: Papers specific to
concerned department
Soft-Core: Papers offered
by other departments.
For example, in Education department,
learners get educational psychology,
educational technology etc. as hardcore papers and Teaching Mathematics,
Computers for Teacher, Writing Skills for
Teacher
soft-core
papers.
As thereare
areas
many
options
in soft-core, each option will have small group
of learners. Professors of other departments cant schedule classroom
sessions for these small groups.
Blended Learning
An E-Learning company asked to develop custom elearning course modules for all soft-core options
offered in the university. At first stage, leaners will go
through these e-learning courses through university
website on their own. In second stage, learners are
asked (on optional basis) to meet the concerned
professor
in their own
department
on fixed
schedule.
The e-learning
company
will develop
these
modules by seeking support from Subject
Matter Experts of concerned departments.
Blended Learning
Case
Scenario:
Training Need: A multinational company wants all its newly recruited
sales executives to be trained on their standard approach to pursue a
business
Learner proposal.
Profile: MBA
graduates
Available Infrastructure to
implement training: Each sales
executive will have company laptop
with internet connectivity.
Constraints: Classroom sessions and
CD based e-learning courses are not
feasible as Business Proposal
concept is subject to continues
change; every time company cant
distribute CDs for each update.

Blended Learning
Case
Scenario:
In general CEOs dont have time for anything other than attending
meetings and conferences, travelling client places, if they are available in
office then get busy with taking updates from each department. As like
other, they do require training in their area of work but lack of time and
their availability at one place is quite difficult. Even if they get some time
training and learning, they cant spend longer than one hour at max.
