Content 1
We know that all living organisms are made
up of cells. In unicellular organisms ( examoeba) one cell performs all the
functions and in unicellular organisms
there are million of cells so these cells are
specialised to carry out few functions.
Thus, a group of cells that are similar in
structure and or work togther to achieve
a particular functions form a tissue.

Content 2
Meristamatic tissue is the dividing tissue
present in the growing region of the
plant. Permanent tissues are derived
from merismetic tissue once they lose
the ability to divide. They are classified as
simple and complex tissues.Parenchyma,
collenchyma and sclerenchyma are three
types of simple tissues. Xylem and
phloem are types of complex tissues.

Depending upon the shape and function,
epethelial tissue is classified as sqamous,
cuboidal, coulmnar, ciliated and
glandular.The different type of connective
tissue in our body include areolar tissue,
adipose tissue, bone, tendon, ligament,
cartilage and blood. Striated, unstriated and
cardiac are 3 types of muscle
tissues.Nervous Tissue is made up of
Neurons that receive and conduct impulses.
