What Are Procedures?
Procedures are put in place
for our classroom so you will
know what is expected of
you on a daily basis.

This will allow us to focus all


of our attention on the
wonderful world of writing
and reading!
Entering the room
• Please enter quietly
• Group Leader hands out writing
journals

• Sit in your assigned seat

• Take out your materials

• Review the agenda

• Begin bell work assignment


Asking for Help
• If you need help,
please put the red
tent up.
• If you are clear
about instructions,
keep the green tent
up!
When you are tardy
•Enter quietly
•Sign Notebook
•Do NOT distract the class!
–A classmate WILL catch you up
at an appropriate time!
• Have a seat and take out your
materials
After an absence

• See Homework buddy

• Go to file cabinet for


information and sign notebook!
• Retrieve any handouts
