INTRODUCTION OF THE COUNTRY

London is the capital of England. Its the most beautiful place in this country.
Its one of the world's leading business, financial, and cultural centres, and has
influence on politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion and art.
Therere many monuments: Palace of Westminster, Westminster Abbey and St.
Margaret's Church, the Tower of London, the Royal Botanic Gardens. As a result, the
city has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.

The most interesting attractions in London are: Buckingham Palace, London Eye,
Tower Bridge, Trafalgar Square, The Tower of London, The British Museum, Tate
Gallery of Modern Art, National Gallery, The Victoria & Albert Museum etc.
You can walk around many interesting place.
London Eye - Millennium Wheel
Its the tallest (135 metres) Ferris wheel in Europe and the most popular
attraction in UK. At the time it was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world.
London Eye is located at the western end of Jubilee Gardens, on the South Bank
from the River Thames in London, England, between Westminster Bridge and
Hungerford Bridge.
The Houses of Parliament
Its the place where laws governing British life are debated and enacted. The
building is in the Gothic style. The Queen rides in her State coach to Westminster
to open each new session of Parliament, usually every second week in November.
The Houses of Parliament contain the bell called Big Ben that strikes the quarter.

INDUSTRY
The City produces 10% of the total national income of Great Britain. Other

The London stock exchange is the 4th largest with a market capitalisation

scheme.
18% of cross-border lending - more than in any other country - is arranged
in the UK.
In 2009 the City had 21% of the marine insurance global market, making it
the world leader.

In 2011 London based companies raised a total of about 450m in venture capital
investment.
London employs 45% of solicitors in private practice and is home to 25% of all
private practice firms in the UK.
In 2010 the UK film industry spent 1.1bn, while international investment rose to a
record breaking 928.9m with approximately three quarters being concentrated in
and around the city of London.
The Construction Skills Network says that in 2011 the Greater London construction
industry directly employed 260,000 people and that there are approximately 677
live or recently completed building projects across the county.
In 2010 London's office space market was valued at 98.6bn and the City's
contribution to the entire UK commercial property market was 488bn.

London is the world's number one tourist destination attracting around


30 million visitors annually with the revenues generated comprising
approximately 10% of the city's gross value added income and
employing 13% of London's workforce.

The retail sector accounts for about 40 percent of all money spent in
London and provides roughly 400,000 jobs (just under 10% of all
employment in the metropolitan area).

FINDING
London's economy continues to grow powerfully, whereas the percent has
fallen sharply within the last year.

local attitudes and people. Everyone who travels to London is in advance reassured
that he or she will have a great time there. Thats unequivocal.
London is like a nicer, more civilized New York. Even after the riots I still feel like
this. It's got a longer history, was destroyed in the blitz in WWII, and has its British
charms. This is the most expensive place I've lived thus-far.
