INTRODUCTION:

Violence is a social fact that has always had a place in our society;
It has never been this much explored by the media as now;
The media have a certain matter in society.

MEDIA VS SOCIETY

The media are responsible for bringing news to the world;

Its role isnt just about informing or entertaining, cause its range is large.

WE SEARCHED FOR AN EXAMPLE.

In Brasil, there are three comunicating groups who lead the market in audiences
and economic value;
They are: Organizaes Globo, Grupo Folha and Grupo Abril;
The wrong idea of Imparciality and Jornalistic Credibility tries to handle politic
and economic life to the delight of certain social groups.

MEDIA VS CRIMINALITYS EXPLORATION

Criminality, victim and criminals approach;
Media works violence in a dramatized way, in order to raise awareness in peoples
minds;
Criminality is seen as a product in the eyes of the media;
Media works as a banner of the liberal thought.

CONSEQUENCES
Media works criminality under the perspective of controlling marginalized;
The fear that media causes creates a feeling of insecurity and revolt on the people;
Public opinion is always on the search for calamity;
Legislative inflation is created with the illusion that problems lie on the miss of a
Code that can regulate crime;
Diante da fora dos mdia a populao deixa de lado a sua neutralidade;
Due to the midias strengh, population leaves neutrality on the side.

 Lawyers are always hostilized by the people;

Criminals generate profit to prisons;
Independent organisms as Human Rights comissions, pastoral prisons and others
are viewed with askance, compassive with criminality and crime allies;
People dont trust in the institutions and starts to make justice with its own hands;

Medias influence reaches several levels.

CONCLUSION

Criminality isnt crafted as mere news

Crime is dramatized as a way to sensibilize people to legitimize several actions
against the criminal, who comes from lower classes and dont belong to an
attractive consumer market
Media would play its role in the construction of discussions with various authorities
in the area, looking for social roots of the problema and stop a violent face that as a
product, exploring its consequences
