John 3:18-21 (NKJV)

He who believes in Him is not

condemned; but he who does not believe
is condemned already, because he has not
believed in the name of the only begotten
Son
of
God.19And
this
is
the
condemnation, that the light has come into
the world, and men loved darkness rather
than light, because their deeds were
evil.20For everyone practicing evil hates
the light and does not come to the light,
lest his deeds should be exposed.21But he
who does the truth comes to the light, that
his deeds may be clearly seen, that they

God sent His Son into the world

to save the world, but this does
not mean that everyone is
automatically saved. In fact
some
are
condemned
and
doomed.

Who is condemned?
When is he condemned?
Why is he condemned?
Who escapes condemnation?

The
unbeliever
is
condemned. The believer
is not condemned.
The unbeliever is a person
who does not believe in the
name of the only begotten
Son of God.

John 5:24
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who
hears My word and believes in Him
who sent Me has everlasting life, and
shall not come into judgment, but
has passed from death into life.

Romans 8:1
There
istherefore
now
no
condemnation to those who are in
Christ Jesus, who do not walk
according to the flesh, but according
to the Spirit.

The unbeliever is already

condemned.
The unbeliever is already judged.
Condemnation is sure. Nothing
can stop or change the judgment
day. Heaven and Hell are real.
The unbeliever is under the curse
of sin and therefore stands guilty
of all the sins he has ever
committed.

Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall
short of the glory of God,
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sinisdeath,
but the gift of Godiseternal
life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The unbeliever rejects the

truth
to believe in the Son of God.
The sin of unbelief is that it
neglects, ignores, denies, abuses
and rejects Gods Son.
The Light has come into the world.
But men loved darkness and
refuse to come to the Light
because their deeds will be

John 1:4-5

In Him was life, and the life was the
light of men.5And the light shines in
the darkness, and the darkness did not
comprehendit.

saying,I am the light of the world. He
who follows Me shall not walk in
darkness, but have the light of life.

world, that whoever believes in

believer
condemnation.

escapes

The man who practices truth and lives

righteously in Christ

If we say that we have fellowship
with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie
and do not practice the truth.7But if
we walk in the light as He is in the
light, we have fellowship with one
another, and the blood of Jesus Christ
His Son cleanses us from all sin.
