Polytechnic Ambala City


The institute is one of the premier and oldest technical
institutes of Asia. It was one of the four oldest polytechnics in
the state of Haryana. The institute has the best infrastructure,
faculty. It was adjudged as best polytechnic in 2008 and has
maximum placements in industry. The popularity of the
institute can be judged from the fact that the top most Diploma
Entrance rank holders opt for courses at Govt. Polytechnic,
Ambala City. The institute is also enjoying the status because
of its connectivity to the neighbouring states and Delhi. The
institute is having maximum intake strength and courses as
compared to other Govt. institutes of Haryana. The institute

An Industry Institute Interaction Cell under the training &


placement officer has been established to develop a close
rapport with Industry. The cell performs the following activities:
1.

To make contact with industries for placement of passing out students by


way of campus interview & interview at works.

To arrange educational tours/industrial visits for students.
3.
To arrange apprenticeship training for the passed out students through
Board of Apprenticeship Training, Kanpur.
