FAIRY TALES

Once upon a time,

In a land far away,
A girl kissed a frog That just made his day!

Far across the town,

Red Riding Hood took fright She found a wolf In granny's bed
When she told her goodnight!

Fairy Tales! Fairy Tales!

Read them every day!
Oh what fun it is to hear
How Goldilocks got away!

Fairy Tales! Fairy Tales!

Full of joy and laughter!
Do you know how this one ends?
Why, its HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

...and they lived happily ever after- fairy tales

of Balkan countries
The aim has been found evidences that the fairy tales from each
Balkan country contain a number of basic recurring elements,
forming a structure common to all of them, regardless of their
national origin, such as: characters, magical items, the struggle
between good and evil, the eventual victory of good and the happy
ending.
We would like by using and teaching with fairy tales to promote the
search for ancient cultural roots, which are common for all the
people from the Balkans and we would liked encourage our children
to read books.
The final product- Travelling Book with Balkans fairy tales.

Our Activities

instead of finale
Balkan fairy tales give knowledge of our folklore culture. They are created by the lessons of the life and teach
us to be clever, good, friendly, wise and honest. Their power brings us the spirit of the old generations. The
world of the fairy tales is endless and a wonder, full with the habits and customs of Balkan people.
We survive as we smile! From the ancient time till now in the folklore of each Balkan nation there is a witty
man!
The end of the fairy tales is always happy. Most of the characters go to unbelievable places or have magic
power. These magic characters pass through difficult dangers, survive of the traps but finally the goodness
wins. The good faith and nobleness are the winners.
The ancient Balkan people thought that the animals played a special role in their life. The animals kept the
people from the dangers of the life .Thats the reason many of the animals to animate in the fairy tales. The
animals speak, behave like people. For example: The Fox is greedy, cunning; The hedgehog is not so brave
but
is always
inventive;
The Bear

thatare clumsy and do stupid things due to their naive and
greediness.
they cannot read should not be a problem for them to get
familiarized with the fairy tales, to find their favorite
character, to use that character as a model example and
to learn a lesson from each tale.
Realizing and integrating projects and project activities
into your curriculum would add not only to the personal
enrichment and professional growth of each teacher, but
Valentina Marinova,
help the children that participate in the projects.
