Your cell phone number must be updated with us.


Your Bank Account must be active (not dormant, deceased, closed etc)
SIM must be of Mobilink, UFONE, Warid, Telenor & Zong
Only T24 account numbers must be used. Old Islamic Banker (IB)
account number will not be valid.

WHICH MOBILE NUMBER WILL BE USED TO VERIFY CUSTOMER:

PRIORITY 1: If the customer is an SMS Alerts Service user, the


requesting cell phone number will be matched against the SMS Alerts
Forms Mobile Number field.

PRIORITY 2: If the customer does not use the SMS Alerts service, the
cell phone number will be picked up from the CRM screen.

HOW TO START SMS BANKING SERVICE?

Activation

of SMS BANKING Service


Send the below mentioned SMS for activation
of SMS BANKING Service at 9060 and it will
be activated.
Example : MBL ACTPULL <BRANCH

ACCOUNT NUMBER>

Send to 9060

SMS BANKING PROCESS

If all is OK, customer will receive the following


message: Dear Customer, As per your request, your
SMS Banking Service has been activated.
If customer's cell number is not updated in our system,
customer will receive the following message: Dear
customer, your Mobile Phone number does not match
with our system;
to avail this service please get your Mobile number
updated from your branch.
If customer enters the text message incorrectly
(spelling or space errors etc): No response will be
received.

Via SMS BANKING account balance request, customer can get their latest balance.

2. Past Transaction History (last 2 transactions)

Last two transactions with amount exceeding PKR 50 can be fetched.

3. Deactivation of Visa Card

Via this facility, customer can deactivate the VISA Debit Card in case of lost or stolen.

Via this facility, customer can activate the previously deactivated Card.

companies are currently charging Rs 1.20/- inclusive of all taxes for
