ABSENCE WITHOUT LEAVE

23. Absence from duty.


- In this part "absence", in relation to an
officer, is including absence for any
period of time at a time and place where
the officer is required to be present for
the performance of his duties
24. Disciplinary action for being absent
without leave
- Absence from duty by an officer without
leave or without prior authorization or
without reasonable cause may cause
the officer to disciplinary action

Procedure in case of absence without leave


(1) The Department shall, as soon as
possible, report that fact along with the
dates and circumstances of the failure
and any further information in respect of
the failure to respect the Disciplinary
Authority
(2) The Disciplinary Authority may, after
considering the report of the Head of the
Department under sub-regulation (1),
initiate disciplinary action against the
officer.

Procedure if the officer is absent without


leave and not be detected (7
consecutive days)
(1) The Department shall prepare a letter
to be delivered personally or sent by
registered post acknowledgment to the
officer's last known dialamatnya,
instructed officials to immediately report
for duty

25 Forfeiture of emoluments due to absence


duty
(1) An officer shall not be entitled to any
emoluments for the period of absence and all
emoluments shall be deemed to have been
forfeited although the Disciplinary Authority
no forfeiture ordered
(2) An officer whose emoluments are forfeited
rights under sub-regulation (1) shall be
notified writing of the forfeiture
(3) forfeiture of emoluments by reason of subregulation (1) not a disciplinary punishment
