Joy in the Midst of

Trials
James 1:2-4

WARNING:
You may
experience new
trials after this
message

1 James, a servant of God and of the

Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes
in the Dispersion: Greetings. 2 Count it
all joy, my brothers, when you meet
trials of various kinds, 3 for you know
that the testing of your faith produces
steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness
have its full effect, that you may be
perfect and complete, lacking in
nothing.
James 1:1-4

Who is James?

Is not this the carpenter, the

son of Mary and brother of
James and Joses and Judas
and Simon? And are not his
sisters here with us? And
they took offense at him.
Mark 6:3

For not even His

brothers believed
in Him.
John 7:5

Then He appeared
to James, then to
all the apostles.
1 Corinthians 15:7

"...and when James and Cephas

and John, who seemed to be
pillars, perceived the grace that
was given to me, they gave the
right hand of fellowship to
Barnabas and me, that we
should go to the Gentiles and
they to the circumcised."
- Apostle Paul (Galatians 2:9)

This was during the days of
Unleavened Bread.
