QUALITY OBJECTIVES

The Quality Objectives of SMCET are outlined as under:

To increase the university result from 45% to 50%.

To maintain 85% attendance for all students.
To increase the number of Graduants from 61% to 65%.
To obtain at least 1 University Rank for a batch.
To conduct 1 National Level Symposium in an academic year.
To conduct 2 seminars in an academic year.
To conduct 1 Workshop in an academic year.
To conduct 1 Conference in an academic year.
To encourage staff and students to present at least 10(3 staffs &7 students) at the
national level and 4 (2 staffs &2 students) at the international level per year.
To conduct at least 4 Guest lecturers in an academic year
To send at least 20% of our staff to attend FDP/STTP/Workshop in an academic
year.
To send the students for at least 20% In Plant training in an academic year.
To offer 4 Training & placement Oriented Programme in an academic year.
To place 75% of eligible students, through placement cell.
To organize at least 1 internal training programs in a semester to satisfy the cross
functional needs to upgrade the skills within the departments.
