Instructions for using this template

Swim Lane diagrams are also referred to as Rummler-Brache
Diagrams and Cross-Functional Flowcharts.

Basic Flowchart Shapes:

There are different layouts for four, five or six

participant groups in your swim lane diagram.

The two basic shapes you will use in a crossfunctional flowchart are Processes and Decisions.
The process shape shows a step or action
in the overall flowchart (e.g. record weight).

Master view of this PowerPoint document. To edit this
structure or create your own, go to the Slide Master
view and select the appropriate layout.
