evaluate the candidate’s performance

Job analysis,
Reliability
and
Validity. 

JOB ANALYSIS :
One of the important testing
concepts is job analysis as it
provides basic information about
the type of the candidate needed
by the organization. Job
specification and job
requirements provide information
about the demands made by a job
on the incumbent
RELIABILITY :
After identifying the tests,
the administrator of test
should ensure the reliability
of test instrument.
Reliability of a test refers
to the level of consistency of
score or results obtained
throughout a series of
measurements.
VALIDITY :
Any selection device should
aim at finding out whether a
candidate possessed the skills
are talents required by a
particular job or not. Each
selection test aims at finding
out whether a candidate
possessed that particular
skill/ talent or not.

INTERVIEW:
The interview is the oldest and
most often used device for
gathering information. Interviews
have become an integral past
social and business life. From the
play home, where parents seek
admission for the child to the
old age home where senior
citizens seek admission entry and
exit interviews, there are indeed
DEFINITION:
 The term
interview has been derived from a
French word “ENTRE VOIR” that means
to glimpse or to see each other .
 By definition:
 INTERVIEW
means a meeting for obtaining
information by questioning a person
or persons. In this way an interview
is a classic example of communication
that takes place through the process
by which meanings are exchanged
between people.
