 Expenditure plan
• Salaries of Folk art trainers, faculty members, and
support artists
• (staff of 6 persons including 1 administrative
officer) : 6 * 3 lakhs : 18 lakhs per annum
• Miscellaneous expenditure + publicity +
publication + advt. + folk art musium related : Rs. 3
Lakhs per annum
• Building maintenance + electricity + show related
expenditure : Rs. 5 lakhs per annum
• Total expenditure : Rs. 26 lakhs per annum

 Fixed assets
• We shall need land and building – for which we
shall request entrepreneurs / donors / funding
agencies
• Total expected investment in fixed assets : Rs. 30
lakhs
• (land of about 5000 sq. feet + building with 3 class
theatres, 1 open hall, and 1 administration block) –
all made of traditional look (like Chokhi Dhani of
Jaipur)

 Financial plan
• We shall need Fixed deposits of Rs. 8 lakhs as per University
requirements – for this we shall approach some donars
• Revenue : 60 students in BPA per annum, fees Rs. 10000 per annum :
• (180 * 10000) = 18,00,000 per annum (assuming 60 students per annum
– 3 year programme so 180 students)
• Fees from events / functions / shows etc (after deducting payments to
the artists ) : ( Rs. 3000 per event * 40 events per annum)
• = 120,000 per annum
• Diploma / PG diploma : (30 students per annum * 12000) =360000
• Other courses / diploma / short duration training programmes : Rs.
5,00,000 per annum
• Total : 27 lakhs approx. per annum.

 BEP
• The institute will achieve BEP only after 3rd year –
so it will need support from other institutions /
organisations for the first 3 years.
• The institute will have to then focus on developing
cassettes / movies / documentaries / presentations
for international clients and to offer its programmes
all over the world.

in collaboration with local hotels

We wish to promote folk art – so we shall tie

up with companies which are connected to
Rajasthani art / culture / music etc. We shall tie
up with comapanies like Veena Cassettes,
Bikaji foods, Hotel Lalgarh Palace, Bhanwar
Niwas, Vesta Hotel, SPIC - MACAY etc. We
shall also tie up with tourism companies
