BBU CPRI Interface Error

Possible Causes:
The optical module on the CPRI port of the BBU is faulty or not installed sec
urely, or the cable connection on the CPRI optical module is not ready.

The CPRI interface board in the BBU is faulty.

The lower-level RF unit is not powered on.

The optical module or connector of the lower-level RF unit is improperly inst


alled or the optical module is faulty.

The lower-level RF unit is faulty.

The optical link between the BBU and the lower-level RF unit is faulty.

RF Unit Maintenance Link Failure

Possible Causes
The CPRI link between the current-level RF unit and the BB
U or upper-level RF unit is broken.
The RF unit is not powered on or running improperly.
The RF unit hardware is faulty.

E1/T1 Loopback

Possible Causes
The user sets the local or remote loopback on the E1/T1 lin
k.
The E1/T1 physical loopback is performed.

Board Unavailable

Possible Causes

The board is removed, or the configured board is not insert


ed into the slot.

The board is reset by MML command.

The board is manually inhibited by MML command.

The system physically inhibits the board, because the syste


m detects a service-affecting fault on the board.

Board Unavailable

Possible Causes

The software on the board does not run normally, leading t


o the board reset.

The hardware of the board is faulty, and thus the board is a


utomatically reset.

The slot of the backplane is faulty, for example, a pin is mis


sing or is damaged, or some unknown causes. Thus, the bo
ard cannot work normally.

Board Hardware Fault

Possible Causes

the hardware of a board is faulty.

IPPATH Fault Alarm

Possible Causes

The FE port that carries the IP path, the PPP link, the MP gr
oup is faulty.

The IP route between the NE and the RNC is not configure


d.

Ping the IP path. The route of the carrier network in the mi


ddle is not correctly configured, or the carrier network shiel
ds the ping message.

The hardware of the board that carries the IP path is faulty.

SCTP Congestion Alarm

Possible Causes

The peer end does not process the data in the buffer in tim
e. Therefore, the buffer of the peer end cannot receive any
data, which result in congestion in the buffer of the local en
d.

If packets are lost in the lower layer, lots of data is stored i


n the buffer and waits for retransmission. Thus the congest
ion occurs.

Board Software Version Mismatched

Possible Causes

The software/hardware version of the board is inconsistent


with the NE configuration.

There is no software loaded to the board.

Faulty Flash or CF card leads to failure in software operatio


n.

Data Configuration File Error

Possible Causes

The configuration file does not exist.

The configuration file is illegal. For example, the configurati


on file has a syntax error.

The CF card is faulty.

Board Configuration Inconsistent with Resource Group Configuration

Possible Causes

Not all the baseband processing resources are added to th


e resource group.

Board Type Mismatch

Possible Causes

This alarm is reported when the type of the board in a slot i


s inconsistent with the board type configured for the slot.

License Configuration Error

Possible Causes

The license file does not exist.

The license file is illegal.

The license number is lower than the number of the syste


m configuration.

Running License clear command.

RF Module Rx Branch RTWP Difference Too High

Possible Causes

This alarm is reported when the difference between the RT


WP of the main RX channel and the RTWP of the diversity R
X channel exceeds 5 dB.

RF Module VSWR Abnormal

Possible Causes

the system detects that the VSWR at the antenna port of th


e RF module exceeds the alarm threshold. The system peri
odically detects the VSWR and the alarm threshold is 1.8.

SNTP Time Synchronize Failed

Possible Causes

This alarm is reported when the system detects that the ti


me synchronization with the SNTP server fails.

Cell Output Power too Low

Possible Causes

This alarm is reported when the system detects the NE cell


output power is 2db or more lower than the configuration i
n RNC of sum of public channel power.

RRU is faulty or aged.

The baseband signal processing malfunctions on the BBU.
