In Samuel Pipims book Here We Stand can be found the following statements:
Among the Adventist doctrines that Dr. Ford opposes are the sanctuary, 1844, the
investigative Judgment, the remnant church, and the role of the Spirit of Prophecy. In
1979, he publicly announced that he had not believed some of these doctrines for the
past 35 years because he could not reconcile the writings of Ellen White with the book
of Hebrews. In 2002, Ford at last publicly admitted that he did not believe in the
creation of the world in six literal days a few thousand years ago. (page 27)
After Dr. Ford was dismissed from denominational employment in 1980, a staggering
180 ministers left the ministry within the next decade. However, most of his followers
and sympathizers remained in the church. HE URGED THEM TO DO THIS, SO THEY COULD USE
THEIR INFLUENCE MORE EFFECTIVELY TO CHANGE THE CHURCH. MANY HAVE SINCE ENJOYED
POSITIONS OF TRUST AND RESPONSIBILITY. (page 27) (ALL WHO STAYED MINISTERED FROM

The Prophet SpeaksThose who would share the benefits of the

Saviour's mediation should permit nothing to interfere with their duty to

perfect holiness in the fear of God. The precious hours, instead of being given
to pleasure, to display, or to gain seeking, should be devoted to an earnest,
prayerful study of the word of truth. The subject of the sanctuary and the
investigative judgment should be clearly understood by the people of God. All
need a knowledge for themselves of the position and work of their great High
Priest. Otherwise it will be impossible for them to exercise the faith which is
essential at this time or to occupy the position which God designs them to fill.
Every individual has a soul to save or to lose. Each has a case pending at the
bar of God. Each must meet the great Judge face to face. How important,
then, that every mind contemplate often the solemn scene when the
judgment shall sit and the books shall be opened, when, with Daniel, every
individual must stand in his lot, at the end of the days. {GC 488.2}

are the scenes connected with the

closing work of the atonement. Momentous are the interests involved therein.
The judgment is now passing in the sanctuary above. For many years this
work has been in progress. Soon--none know how soon--it will pass to the
cases of the living. In the awful presence of God our lives are to come up in
review. At this time above all others it behooves every soul to heed the
Saviour's admonition: "Watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is."
Mark 13:33. "If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief,
and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee." Revelation 3:3.

SECURITY, IGNORANT OF WHAT IS ABOUT TO BEFALL USTHE NATIONAL SUNDAY LAWWHICH
WILL SEPARATE THE WHEAT FROM THE TARES. THINK ABOUT THIS: When the wheat is separated
from the tares, only those LIVING will be participating in this event; WEIGHING and BALANCING
which is, for all intents and purposes, nothing other than JUDGMENT, is what is taking place and its
taking place when the NSL passes from the dead to the living. At that time, many SDAs will give up
their faith rather than be without food or be killed. That being the case, JUDGMENT IS, AT THAT
TIME, PASSING FROM THE DEAD TO THE LIVING. The reason separation takes place at that time is
because the pen of Inspirations says, As the storm approaches, a large class who have professed
faith in the third angel's message, but have not been sanctified through obedience to the truth,
abandon their position and join the ranks of the opposition. {LDE 180.6}
Those Sabbath keepers who abandon their Faith and join the ranks of the opposition will receive the
MARK OF THE BEAST; those who stand TRUE TO THEIR FAITH will receive the SEAL OF GOD!! {Mar

FINAL TEST

NATIONAL SUNDAY LAW

The Prophet SpeaksThe Sabbath will be the great test of loyalty; for it is the
point of truth especially controverted. When the final test shall be
brought to bear upon men, THEN the line of distinction will be drawn
between those who
serve God and those who serve him not. While the
observance of the false
sabbath in compliance with the law of the State,
contrary to the fourth commandment, will be an avowal of allegiance to a
power that is in opposition to God, the keeping of the true Sabbath, in
obedience to God's law, is an evidence of loyalty to the Creator. While one
class, by accepting the sign of submission to earthly powers, receive the
mark of the beast, the other,
choosing the token of allegiance to divine
authority, receive the seal of God. [SEE APPENDIX, NOTE 13.] {GC88 605.2}

The Prophet Contd Never did this message apply with greater
force than it applies today. More and more the world is setting at
nought the claims of God. Men have become bold in transgression.
The wickedness of the inhabitants of the world has almost filled up
the measure of their iniquity. This earth has almost reached the
place where God will permit the destroyer to work his will upon it.
The substitution of the laws of men for the law of God, the
exaltation, by merely human authority, of Sunday in place of the
Bible Sabbath, is the last act in the drama. When this substitution
becomes universal, God will reveal Himself. He will arise in His
majesty to shake terribly the earth. He will come out of His place to
punish the inhabitants of the world for their iniquity, and the earth
shall disclose her blood and shall no more cover her slain. {7T

the Drama; we, as Gods people, will decide for God or for the enemy of God.
Those Seventh-day Adventist who choose God and receive the Seal of God
will also receive the Latter Rain which will empower us to give the Loud Cry
to the sheep not of this fold. When the sheep, not of this fold, come out of
Babylon, then the general Close of Probation for the whole world will take
place and Jesus can come to take us home with Him. The sins of the saved
will be placed on satans head and he and his sympathizers will be cast into

WANT JESUS TO COME OUT OF THE MOST HOLY PLACE. Satan wants to keep

Says the great deceiver: "We must watch those who are calling the attention
of the people to the Sabbath of Jehovah; they will lead many to see the
claims of the law of God; and the same light which reveals the true Sabbath
reveals also the ministration of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary, and shows
that the last work for man's salvation is now going forward. Hold the minds
of the people in darkness till that work is ended, and we shall SECURE THE
WORLD AND THE CHURCH ALSO. {TM 472.2}
"The Sabbath is the great question which is to decide the destiny of souls.
We must exalt the sabbath of our creating. We have caused it to be accepted
by both worldlings and church members; now the church must be led to unite
with the world in its support. We must work by signs and wonders to blind
their eyes to the truth, and lead them to lay aside reason and the fear of God
and follow custom and tradition. {TM 472.3}
THE WORD SECURE LETS US KNOW SATANS DESIRE IS TO WIN

The Prophet Speaks

The great conflict that Satan created in the heavenly courts is soon, very soon, to be
forever decided. Soon all the inhabitants of the earth will have taken sides, either for or
against the government of heaven. NOW, as never before, Satan is exercising his
deceiving power to mislead and to destroy every unguarded soul. We are called upon to
arouse the people to prepare for the great issues before them. We must give warning to
those who are standing on the very brink of ruin. God's people are to put forth every
power in combating Satan's falsehoods and pulling down his strongholds. To every
human being in the wide world who will give heed, we are to make plain the principles
at stake in the great controversy--principles upon which hangs the eternal destiny of
the soul. {7T 141.2}
The tares and the wheat are to grow together until the harvest; and the harvest is the
end of probationary time. {COL 71.3}
So now, a sudden and unlooked-for calamity, something that brings the soul face to
face with death, will show whether there is any real faith in the promises of God. It will
show whether the soul is sustained by grace. The great FINAL TEST comes at the close
of human probation, when it will be too late for the soul's need to be supplied. {COL

influence is working for the purification of the
church, and the other for the corrupting of the

The church may appear as about to fall, but it

does not fall. It remains, while the sinners in Zion
will be sifted out--the chaff separated from the
precious wheat. {Mar 203.2} The church
appearing to fall is due to many, so called SDAs,
who relinquish their faith because they have not
been sanctified through obedience to the Truth.

I then saw the third angel. Said my accompanying

angel, "Fearful is his work. Awful is his mission. He is
the angel that is to select the wheat from the tares,
and seal, or bind, the wheat for the heavenly garner.

This is the TEST that the people of God must have before they
are SEALED. All who proved thei r loyalty to God by observing His
law, and refusing to accept a spurious sabbath, will rank under
the banner of the Lord God Jehovah, and will receive THE SEAL
OF THE LIVING GOD. Those who yield the truth of heavenly origin
and accept the Sunday sabbath, will receive the MARK OF THE

ended a short time before the appearing of the Lord in the clouds of heaven.
Christ in the Revelation, looking forward to that time, declares: "He that is

The Prophet SpeaksThe passing of the time in 1844 was a period of great events,
opening to our astonished eyes the cleansing of the sanctuary transpiring in heaven,
and having decided relation to God's people upon the earth, [also] the first and second
angels' messages and the third, unfurling the banner on which was inscribed, "The
commandments of God and the faith of Jesus." One of the landmarks under this
message was the temple of God, seen by His truth-loving people in heaven, and the ark
containing the law of God. The light of the Sabbath of the fourth commandment flashed
its strong rays in the pathway of the transgressors of God's law. The nonimmortality of
the wicked is an old landmark. I can call to mind

nothing more that can come under the head of the old landmarks. All this cry about

when satan set up that false system of worship in the person of the Catholic church.
The previous reformersMartin Luther, Zwingli, Wycliffe, Waldenses, etc. did NOT
become aware of the Sanctuary; the Lord left it undiscovered so He could give it to His
Remnant Church. When Jesus didnt come in 1844, the way the pioneers thought, they
went back to the Bible and studied it only to learn that the Sanctuary was not the Earth
as previously thought but that there was a Sanctuary in Heaven and that Jesus had, at
that time, Oct 22, 1844, gone into the Most Holy Place of the Heavenly Sanctuary. The
pioneers realized that when on the day of atonement in the Earthly Sanctuary, the
people had to have VICTORY OVER SIN on THAT DAY, that is, NO ONE COULD BE
SINNING ON THAT DAY. We are NOW living in the Day of Atonement.

SidebarThe pioneers realized after unearthing the Sanctuary that we must have VICTORY OVER
SIN in the third phase of the Sanctuary and as such our dress, diet, worship, music, thoughts,
words, deeds, all must CHANGE.
Satan knew that if we understood this, that he was doomed so he went to work to get rid of the
Sanctuary with his false system of worship through the Catholic church. Now, Satan is making war
against the Remnant, those who keep the commandments of God and have the Faith of Jesus. The
first angel takes us into the Most Holy Place where Judgment began.
REV.14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to
preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and
people,
14:7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is
come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
14:8And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because
she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
14:9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and
his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture
into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of
the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

The Prophet SpeaksThe scripture which above all others had been both the
foundation and central pillar of the Advent faith was the declaration, Unto
two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be
cleansed. [Daniel 8:14.]
We are in the great day of atonement, when our sins are, by confession and
repentance, to go beforehand to judgment. God does not now accept a tame,
spiritless testimony from His ministers. Such a testimony would not be
present truth. The message for this time must be meat in due season to feed
the church of God. But Satan has been

seeking gradually to rob this message of its power, that the people may not
be prepared to stand in the day of the Lord. {1SM 124.3}
Satan has been gradually WATERING DOWN THIS MESSAGE!! And he began
with the central pillar of our faith, the Sanctuary, because he knows that if
the Sanctuary is off the scene, every other pillar will be null and void as well,
then, nobody would know anything about VICTORY OVER SIN.
