Social Justice is made up

1. Commutative Justice
2. Legal Justice

Commutative Justice is that

which governs the relationship
between person and person.
Relationship is based on equality.
A person gives me something; I
give something commensurate to
what is being given.

Example:

Employer and employee

relationship.
Employer gives a wage
commensurate to a contract of
service with the employee.

Legal Justice is that which

governs the relationship
between person in relation to a
group, community, or society.
It is the person making his/her
contribution to a larger group
or society.

Example:

All persons are asked to pay taxes

to the government.

Distributive justice is that which

governs the relationship of
society with the members of
that society.
Distributive justice presupposes
that society distributes
equitably the common good to
its members.
Example:
The State distributes
equitably goods and
services to all people.

Is a composite of

one willy-nilly will
lead to the
violation of the
