Dr. Mohan K.T., USA trained physician, pulmonologist,

Intensivist, and Sleep Disorder Breathing specialist, has
more than 15 years of clinical experience in the United
States of America. He is the first physician in Pune with
super speciality fellowship and American Board certification
from USA in the field of Chest/Pulmonology and Critical Care
Medicine.
Dr. Mohan K.T. received his medical doctorate from the
University of Mysore, India in 1993. He then pursued his M.D.

Pulmonology, is a super speciality branch of Internal Medicine
that deals with the Lung/Respiratory diseases. Dr. Mohan
K.T. , is the only Physician in Pune with MD Internal Medicine
(USA) background with Super Speciality Fellowship training in
Pulmonology & Critical Care Medicine(ICU) from a prestigious
Tulane University, USA, has now started a Comprehensive
Pulmonology & Sleep Care Center under one roof at Apple
Hospital, near Wakad, PCMC area. He was Assistant
professor in Tulane University and served as Consultant
Pulmonologist at Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital for the last 3
years and has over 15 years of experience in USA .

Lung Cancer Detection Clinic

Cancer of the lung, like all cancers, results from an

abnormality in the bodys basic unit of life, the cell. Normally,
the body maintains a system of checks and balances on cell
growth so that cells divide to produce new cells only when
new cells are needed. Disruption of this system of checks
and balances on cell growth results in an uncontrolled
division and proliferation of cells that eventually forms a
mass known as a tumor.
Tumors can be benign or malignant; when we speak of
cancer, we are referring to those tumors that are
malignant. Benign tumors usually can be removed and do
not spread to other parts of the body.
