8. You shall not steal
9. You shall not give false testimony…
10. You shall not cover your neighbour’s house, wife, etc…
Focus on Divine-Human relationship
• The law is to reveal God’s holy character:
– He is a jealous God, a holy God, just
• INTENT, MOTIVE, THOUGHT always included
in the commands.
– E.g. adultery
– E.g. murder
