Mengendalikan Emosi

Rasa marah, kesal, sebal, sedih, atau gembira : wajar


Pengungkapan emosi ada aturannya, harus proporsional sesuai keadaan, waktu,
tempat & diterima
Supaya bisa mengekspresikan emosi secara tepat, kita perlu pengendalian emosi.
Pengendalian bukan untuk menekan atau menghilangkan, tetapi : Belajar menghadapi
situasi dengan sikap rasional, belajar mengenali emosi dan menghindari dari
penafsiran yang berlebihan.
Penafsiran yang obyektif : norma lingkungan
Tujuan
Hidup bahagia, aman & wajar sesuai aturan sosial
Pengendaliannya :
Belajar mengenal, menerima, dan mengekspresikan emosi positif (senang, sayang,
atau bahagia) dan negatif (khawatir, sebal, sedih, atau marah).
Belajar menunda pemuasan kebutuhan.
Tafsirkan kembali situasinya, berpikir ulang
Kembangkan rasa humor & sikap realistis.
Atasi langsung problem yang dihadapi. Takut dimarahi krn pulang terlambat, jangan
pulang terlambat.
