Support dynamic and static power control

Contd
Double Transceiver Unit (DTRU). A single
cabinet can support up to 12 carriers.
Support Power Boost Technology (PBT)
Support more various transmission mode
includes E1, STM-1, microwave, and
satellite transmission

DTRU: Double
transceiver unit
> Sending multi RF signals
from the transceiver in the
DTRU to the antenna
through the duplexer
> Sending signals from
the antenna after
amplifying and quartering
them to the transceiver in
the DTRU
> Detecting standing

Benefits of BTS 3900

The indoor macro BTS3900 adopts
the unified module design, and thus
allows multiple radio access
technologies (RATs) in one cabinet. It
is small in size and light in weight,
and supports smooth evolution to the
Long Term Evolution (LTE).

Benefits
Efficient site
usage.
600mmx450mm
Reduced power
consumption:
The integrated
BTS3900A cabinet has
the power consumption
reduced by 8%.

Reliable OM with Minimized

OPEX:
The BTS3900 can
share the BBU, RFU, and power
system with other products of

Cost-Effective
Solutions for Capacity
and Coverage.
The BTS3900 guarantees
wide coverage and high
throughput, and helps
minimize the number of
sites

DRFU (Double radio filter

unit)
One double radio filter unit (DRFU)
provides two TRXs. No of TRX per
cabinet is 12.

The DRFU performs modulation

and demodulation between
baseband signals and RF signals,
processes data, and combines and
divides signals.

GRFU (GSM Radio filter

Unit)
One GRFU provides a
maximum of six TRXs. No of
TRX per cabinet is 36.
The GRFU performs
modulation and
demodulation between
baseband signals and RF
signals, processes data, and
combines and divides signals.

GRFU

When the DRFU is

configured for the
BTS3900, a BTS3900
can support a maximum
of 36 carriers in the
maximum cell
configuration of
S12/12/12.

When the GRFU is

configured for the
BTS3900, a BTS3900
can support a
maximum of 72 carriers
in the maximum cell
configuration of
S24/24/24.
