Piping

Is a system of pipes used to convey fluids (liquids and gases)

from one location to another.

Sometimes refer to Piping Design, the detailed specification of

the physical piping layout within a process plant or commercial
building.

Is Plumbing with which most people are familiar, as it constitutes

the form of fluid transportation that is used to provide water and
fuels to homes and businesses.

Usually made of plastic, steel, aluminum, copper and fiberglass.

Ductwork

Is a system of ducts used for a particular purpose, as in a

ventilation or heating systems.

HVAC

Stands for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.

Is the technology of indoor and vehicular environmental comfort.

Its goal is to provide thermal comfort and acceptable indoor air

quality.

Is important in the design of industrial and office buildings where

safe and healthy building conditions are regulated with respect to
temperature and humidity using fresh air from outdoors.

Fire Protection Systems

Is a system that relies on all its components where a building is

designed in compliance with the local building code and fire code
to mitigate the unwanted effects of potentially destructive fires.
