A Brief History of Korean

The original name was Taehan Min'Guk Korean


state with an area of 98,400 km and a population
of 48,289,037 inhabitants. His country is a
Republic form of the head of the State President,
the prime minister head of government, and
centralized presidential system of government. The
capital of South Korea is Seoul, the Korean
national language and Korean currency is Won.

South Korea is a modern country


that is becoming more and more
reliant on technology, both from the
perspective of using technology to
make life easier and more enjoyable
to creating and developing technology.
The country maintains many aspects
of their traditional culture, but with
the ease of modern day amenities.

South Korea is extraordinarily homogenous


as every person (other than about 20,000
Chinese) is ethnically Korean.

Nearly half of South Korea's


population claims no religious
affiliation. Among the other half of
the population, about half of these
people are Christian (primarily
Protestant) and about half are
Buddhist.

reason for this is they aren't quite
as abundant as they are in the US).

There are some habitual that usually done by


Koreans:
Ordinary Korean people give greeting the
introduction , before eating , after eating , when
saying goodbye , when sleeping , etc. , by nodding his
head and bowing slightly . Keep your head about 3060 degrees for 2-3 seconds . The meaning greetings
we say more respectful .
Handshaking is done for the older one.
They usually eat noodle.
They belch after they have already eating something,
they assume that belch is done for appreciate a chef.
They are polite to their consumer

They give alcohol drink for appreciate

The south Korean society has high diciplin
attitude and diligent work (workaholic),
no smoking on the bus, subway, taxi,
workplace.
