Sports?
These are activities which can be enjoyed
over the WHOLE COURSE of a lifetime.
What are some of these sports?

Table Tennis
Tennis
Badminton

Why are they Lifetime


Sports?
What are some of the key points that make
these sports accessible to all?
Non-Contact- the sports are not aggressive or have
the element of physicality that most mainstream
sports carry- meaning less wear and tear on the
body as we get older i.e. Masters Tennis vs. Masters
Football?
Competitiveness- all of these sports can be played
for RECREATION as well as COMPETITION- good
days and bad days?

Social aspects- playing these sports can
require 2 or more people to participateconversation and relationships- joining a
club/ society? Using activity/sport as a
catharsis.
Commitment- participants can dip in and
out of these sports/activities- fixtures and
timings etc?

Life-Long Physical
Activity
This can also be known as Life Long
Participation.
This can be described as enjoyable,
health- enhancing movement that can be
sustained throughout life
These are activities such as yoga,
cycling etc.

The Government recommend that young

levels in kids have never been worse.
