RRU
The RRU3701C has the following functions:
The RRU3701C receives RF signals from the antenna system,
down-converts the signals to IF signals, and then transmits
them to the BBU after amplification, analog-to-digital
conversion, digital down-conversion, matched filtering, and
Digital Automatic Gain Control (DAGC).
The RRU3701C receives downlink baseband data from the
BBU, forwards data from its cascaded RRU3701C, performs
filtering and digital-to-analog conversion for downlink
spreading signals, and up-converts RF signals to the
transmitting frequency band.
The RRU3701C duplexer allows RX signals and TX signals to
share one antenna channel by multiplexing RX signals and TX
signals over the RF channels. The duplexer can also filter the
TX and RX signals.

When the
communication with the
GPS system is
interrupted, the clock
system of the BTS3703
changes to free-run

Antenna System
The radio antenna system receives and transmits
radio signals.
Based on horizontal radiation patterns, antennas
are classified into two types: directional antenna
and omnidirectional antenna. You can choose one
type or customize them based on the actual
situations.

All the BTS3703s share a frequency. Each of the three sectors in a BTS3703 uses oneApplied for the initial phase of
third of the sub-channels. The sectors facing to the same direction in different

BTS3703s use the same sub-channels. To ensure that the sub-channels of the
neighboring sectors in a BTS3703 are unique, all the sectors use the same PermBase.
