MALAY WORLD

with it the use of cotton, to the Malay
region.
People - the Muslims set up weaving
factories.
They produce a variety of form and color
of textiles with gold and silver thread
embroidery.

(Example: using leaves as the subject matter but it
is stylized until it is different in shape & repetitive)

FORMAL ANALYSIS
Woven of silk, are synonymous with Southeast
Asian.
Brown color with black and white.
Usually the texture of the songket is soft due to
usage of silk.
