TRIBUTE TO A TEACHER

A little of you lives in every child with whom you come in

contact. Great is your influences for you have
contributed to the development of every advancement in
medicine and science. You speak in every courtroom
and from every pulpit. Your voice is heard in every song,
and your influence is felt in every painting. You live in the
pages of every book, that has ever been written. You
ride into space with every astronaut. You live in every
home and speak through every child at every dinner
table, when the child says: ”My teacher says…..”

Academic talent
The Program Talents Unlimited is a teaching/learning program which
improves students' critical and creative thinking skills within the context of
classroom curriculum. Based on Dr. Calvin Taylor's Multiple Talent
Approach, this program increases student metacognitive capacity in specific
work-related thought processes:
• 80% pelajar mendapat semua A dalam setiap
subjek diambil.
• 100% pelajar berjaya teruskan ke Tk 4 dengan
memenuhi syarat:
Gred A dalam Matematik, Sains dan lain-lain.

• 100% pelajar layak masuk matrikulasi.
• Mencapai GPS 2.5 ke bawah bagi program MRSM biasa.
• Mencapai GPS 2.00 ke bawah bagi MRSM PKP.

Poor Dad’s Lessons from Robert Kiyosaki, Retire Young Retire
Rich
My poor dad often advised, ”Go to school, get good grades, find a safe
secure job, work hard, and save money. ”He also quote other famous lines
such as, “Neither a borrower nor lender be.” And “A penny saved is a
penny earned.” Or “If you can’t afford something don’t buy it. Always pay
cash.”
My poor dad’s life would have been pretty good if he followed his own
advice, but like many people, he said what he thought were the right words
but he did not do the right things. Instead he borrowed money to buy his
house and his cars. He never invested because he always said, ”Investing
is risky.” Instead he tried to save money….but each time there was an
emergency, he would take the money out of his savings. He borrowed
money for things that made him poor and he refused to borrow money for
things that might made him rich. It is these subtle differences that made a
lot of difference in his life. It is because of these lifelong ways of thinking
and handling his money that he cannot afford to retire at age sixty-five.

the best way to learn about something was to observe it carefully.

DIFFERENTIATED CURRICULUM
(KURIKULUM TERBEZA)
DIFFERENTIATION
• Compacting. Paring the curriculum to the
essentials of the GAT students so that they can
move quickly through the material and test-out
and go on to a more aptitude and appropriate
material. (Rais, Susan and Renzulli. 1992)
• Giving different material to cover.(Content)
• When we allow the students to demonstrate their
learning through different assessment formats.

Collaborative Learning Enhances Critical
Thinking (Items that involve analysis,
synthesis, and evaluation of the concepts.)

The concept of collaborative learning, the grouping

and pairing of students for the purpose of achieving an
academic goal, has been widely researched and
advocated throughout the professional literature. The
term "collaborative learning" refers to an instruction
method in which students at various performance levels
work together in small groups toward a common goal.
The students are responsible for one another's learning
as well as their own. Thus, the success of one student
helps other students to be successful.
Collaborative
Learning:
An instruction method
in which students work
in groups toward a
common academic
goal.
Individual Learning:
An instruction method
in which students work
individually at their own
All classrooms are equipped with an array of
technology to facilitate and enable student-centered teaching..
Instructors are encouraged to invite library, advising, tutoring,
and technical support staff to work in the classroom alongside
preceptors and students. They also have the opportunity to
consult with any of those specialists in designing and
preparing their classes or in finding ways to help new
structures to assist students receive outside of regular class
hours.

1. Integrate e-learning into classroom activities and demonstrate how

virtual classroom and web conferencing can add value to the
learning experience.
2. Develop an e-learning strategy; plan how to prepare the workforce
to use e-learning and help you select from the host of vendors of
e-learning content and learning management systems.

Enrichment Clusters
This program allows multi-aged groups of
students who share a common interest to
come together during specially designated
blocks of time during the school day. Each
cluster is charged with creating a product
or service based on that common interest
for a real-world audience. Students assume
a leadership role in the decision making
process. In their role as facilitator, faculty
members and/or community members
guide the students, but do not present
planned lessons. Students pursue their
interests and practice becoming self-
directed learners
