INSTRUCTION:
• Work in pairs.
• You are to share your worries or
fears about teaching Mathematics in
English with your partner, so choose
somebody you are comfortable with.
• Tell your partner your worries or
fears.
• The person who is listening can say
something soothing to show your
empathy and also suggest ways to
overcome those worries
• Switch roles.

our English is not good enough;
our teaching is not always the
best;
we have gaps in our subject
knowledge;
we will not be respected by our
peers;
we will not do the job expected
of us.
