Alicon makes its spare parts by using
Aluminium .
It has two plants in India one is located at Pune
and second is in Binola(Haryana).
Binola plant is established in 2006 and pune
plant is established in 2001.

Employee retention is a process in which the

employees are encouraged to remain with the


organization for the maximum period of time or
until the completion of the project.
Employees today are different. They are not

the ones who dont have good opportunities in


hand. As soon as they feel dissatisfied with the
current employer or the job, they switch over
to the next job.

It is the responsibility of the employer toretain


their best employees. If they dont, they would
be left with no good employees. A good

COMPENSATION
Compensation constitutes the largest part of

the employee retention process.

The employees always have high expectations

regarding their compensationpackages.

Compensation packages vary from industry to

industry. So an attractive compensation


package plays a critical role in retaining the
employees.

Compensation includes salary and wages,


bonuses, benefits, bonuses, vacations, etc.

RELATIONSHIP
Relationship with the immediate manager
A manger plays the role ofa mentor and a coach. He

designs and plans work for each employee. It is his duty to


involve the employee in the processes of the organization.
So an organization should hire managers who can make
and maintain good relations with their subordinates.
Relationship with colleagues
Promote team work, not only among teams but in different

departments as well. This will induce competition as well


as improve the Relationship among colleagues.

It includes continuous learning and
improvement of the individual, certifications

It includes efficient managers, supportive coworkers, challenging work, involvement in

The Research design used in the study was


descriptive research design.

The sampling technique used in this study is
survey technique.
SAMPLE SIZE
The sample size used in this study is 100.

Data sources can be classified into two
categories namely primary and secondary
sources.

Primary data

The primary data are collected from structured


form of questionnaire.The questionnaire
consists of multiple choices of questions.
Secondary data

The secondary data are collected through


company records and journals.

FINDINGS
Most of the employees are leaving their jobs

because they are not satisfied with the salary.


The employees are not satisfied with their

career growth in the company.


They are not satisfied with the grievances

handling systems.
The facilities provided by the company are

good (cafeteria, transport &others services).

SUGGESTIONS

The Management should take efforts in motivating the

employees working in the company.


The job stress experienced by the employees can be
reduced by increasing the manpower in the organization.
The management should create growth opportunities for the
employees.
Grievance handling system can be made more efficient
which results in increased level of satisfaction among the
employees.
Employees should be recognized for their work. This enables
a better superior Supervisors relationship within the
company.
The management should provide a better work environment
which results in job satisfaction to the employees.

CONCLUSION
The complaints of the employees should be

resolved in order to retain them in the


organizations.
Grievances handling system should be effective.
The organization has to motivate their
employees, because motivation increases
performance level.
Organization should focus on career
development of their employees.
The organization should be given the fair salary
