Sec. 4-16. Compliance with State law and compliance
with all City Codes
• Before any applicant shall be entitled to procure a
license from the city, the applicant must first satisfy all the
requirements of the State liquor laws and obtain a license
from the State supervisor of liquor control to engage in such
business. Any person, having proven to satisfy the
requirements of the liquor laws of the State and compliance
with all City ordinances, including the correct City property
zone as prescribed in Chapter 42 of the Rolla City Code, shall
be eligible to make application for a license to sell
intoxicating liquors within the City, at retail or wholesale, for
consumption on the premises where sold in the original
package, in accordance with the type of license obtained from
