Overview

Bases for National, Muslim, Regional and Division Holidays:

Official DepEd and school activities were sourced from DepEd Order
No. 18, s. 2014
The Official national holidays and observances were sourced from
the official gazette (Source: http://www.gov.ph/calendar/)

1435 and 1436 Hijrah dates were sourced from the Majlis Ugama
Islam Singapura or MUIS. Exact dates will be subject to the usual
sighting requisite and proclamation by proper authority.

Dates for Regional holidays (Sheik Makhdum Day, Shariif

Kabungsuan Day, Bangsamoro Week of peace) are sourced from the
ARMM BPI
Color Coding:
- All DepEd school activities are shaded in green, national
holidays are in red, Regional holidays are in orange, Muslim
holidays are violet, national observances , (monthly, weekly,
daily) are blue, instructional supervision are yellow .
- Exemption: in case of Muslim holidays like Eid al Fitr and Eid alAdha, are shaded in red because they are national holidays.

Clarification on National Observances (Monthly, weekly, daily):

not holidays; They are included to provide real world connection
