Sweetening
What is sweetening means?
Available commercial processes for sweetening
1. Absorption-solvent absorption-can be chemical, physical or hybrid.
2.Adsorption solid desiccants such as molecular sieve.
3. Cryogenic fraction-such as Ryan-Holmes or CFZ
4.Membrane
5.Biological process
6.Direct conversion-such as LO-CAT
We used a chemical absorption process with amine i.e. Methyldiethanolamine (MDEA)

Process descriptions and discussion of inputs

and results
Dehydration
Dehydration is the process of removing water vapor or liquid from a
process stream.
Available commercial processes for Dehydration
1. Absorption process
2. Adsorption process
3.Non-Regenerable desiccant process
4.Membrane Process
We choose high performance Tri-ethylene glycol dehydration unit.
