Organization design and


structure
The organization design of Global Nutri Foods Pvt.
Ltd., is that it is inter linked with other companies
who needs the fruits for processing them to juices
or other products and also for the usage of
vegetables in food items.
First the fruits are brought and checked for their
nutrition and stored so that the fruits/vegetables
don't get rotten.
Some fruits and vegetables are made to grow under
their own presence and are tested for the nutrition
so that the best way is known to get the better
nutrition foods, and it is made to be implemented
by the villagers in and around the company.

Functions of various
Departments

The purchase manager on the basis of his previous


experience,
marketing information and market survey has to maintain a list
of the
suppliers who could supply him materials of the requisite quality,
quantity and at the right time.
A systematic purchase procedure is explained as
under:

(a) Determination of Purchase Budget.

(b) Receiving Purchase Requisition slips.

(c) Tapping the sources of supply.

(d) Placing the order.

(e) Receipt of Materials.

(f) Checking the Invoices.

Functions of various

Storage Department functions are:


Receiving of incoming consignments (goods)
Safe keeping of goods (Custody)
Disposal of undesirable goods
Inventory Management
Housekeeping and record maintenance
And the supply department finally supplies the products
i.e. fruits/vegetables to the consumers with well
protection so that they wont get damaged in the
process of supply.

Receiving The act of taking possession of products in order to


stage them for inspection, place them into inventory, or deploy
them to end user (Requester) for immediate use.
Inspecting the act of examining products that have been
delivered to determine conformance to the purchase
specifications.
Acceptance Acknowledging that the products and/or goods
conform to the requirements of the purchase order so that the
supplier may be paid. Shipments are considered accepted if the
customer (requester of the item) acknowledges receipt to
Accounts Payable and do not have a quality or delivery issue.
Most shipments are considered accepted and approved for
payment by the recipient (requester) by the generation of a
receiving ticket (report) unless the recipient contacts Procurement
or Accounts Payable and requests a hold on payment.

There are four sections in the process of storekeeping


viz.
(a) Receiving section,
(b) Storage section,
(c) Accounting section, and
(d) Issue section.
And the supply department here checks the type
to supply to be done and makes the supply depending
on the customer requirement and needs.

The accounting system followed in
Global Nutri Foods Company is
generally of tally erp 9. The
accounts are made as per the
business being going and it is
always checked with the present
and to forecast the profits and
demands to increase or decrease
the purchase of products.

Product promotional
measures and strategies
Product characteristics Promotion must be
tailored to the characteristics, features and
application of the product or service being
sold. The most effective promotions will draw
on these attributes and your competitive
positioning to strongly demonstrate your
unique offer to the consumer.
Competition you will need to use the
promotional mix to reinforce the ways in which
you are different from your competitors.

Product promotional
measures and strategies
Marketing strategies directly impact food purchasing and
eating habits. For example, in the late 1970s scientists
announced a possible link between eating a high-fiber
diet and a reduced risk of cancer. However, consumers
did not immediately increase their consumption of highfiber cereals. But in 1984 advertisements claiming a
relationship between high-fiber diets and protection
against cancer appeared, and by 1987 approximately 2
million households had begun eating high-fiber cereal.
Since then, other health claims, supported by scientific
studies, have influenced consumers to decrease
consumption of foods high in saturated fat and to
increase consumption of fruits, vegetables, skim milk,
poultry, and fish.

Purchasing of materials involves a number of steps, which
may be different from one company to another.
Purchase requisition has three purposes
* To inform purchasing department of the need to
purchase materials.
* To fix the responsibility of the department making the
purchase requisition.
* To use for further reference.
As per the requirement the materials are ordered and
stored for further use.
And
also
as
per
the
requirement
of
the
customers/consumers.

The HRD determines the human resource needs
for The Ministry of Food and Agriculture.

development for the Ministry Provide guidance in

workers in the ministry and ensuring that

Strengths:

Well reputed and known to all the consumer
companies for its good and well nutrition
products.
All the customers are used to the company
products since long time.
Weakness:
Less number of employees and it is very difficult
to manage the big orders and to control the stock.

Opportunities:
As of now the company is at well positioned and
having very good deals with the consumers and
the customers.
This leads the company to get more and more
benefits and increase in name and fame.
Threats:
The main problem is of the competition, if the
competition increases that leads to the decrease
in the company profits and also the employment.
And also having less number of employees may
some times causes difficulties at the time of large
orders or at the time of more stocks are received.
