1.Introduction
Google is creating a better web that's better for
the Environment.
Google, theyre striving to power there company
with 100% renewable energy.
Google believe that by helping power more of
the world with renewable energy, they're
creating a better future for everyone.
Invests a large amount of capital into efficiency
improvement.
Google constantly looking for ways to minimize
their environmental impact.

2.Google Renewable Energy

Google currently using renewable energy to

power over 34% of there operations.
Google is always looking for ways to expand
the use of renewable energy.
Google committed over $1 billion to
renewable energy project investments.
Agreed to procure over 260 megawatts (MW) of
wind power near their data centers, and installed
1.7 MW of solar at Google corporate
headquarters.
Through the purchase of renewable energy and
carbon offsets Google reduce their emissions
toZero.
Google working on changing that by buying
renewable energy from the utility providers and
wind farms near their data centers.

3.Google Data Centers

Google data centers are some of the most

efficient in the world.
Google data centers use only 50% of the
energy of most other typical data centers.
Google uses very little of the world's electricity
(less than 0.01%).
Every year Google saves millions of dollars and
avoids emitting ten thousands of tons of
carbon dioxide.
Google committed to using renewable energy
like wind and solar as much as possible.

4. Renewable Energy
Renewable energy is generally defined as
energy that comes from resources which are
naturally replenished on a human timescale
such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves
and geothermal heat

I. Solar Energy-Solar power is the conversion of sunlight into

electricity, either directly using photovoltaic (PV), or
indirectly using concentrated solar power (CSP).
Concentrated solar power systems use lenses or mirrors and
tracking systems to focus a large area of sunlight into a small
beam. Photovoltaic convert light into electric current using
the photovoltaic effect.
II. Wind Energy-Wind power is the conversion of wind energy
into a useful form of energy, such as using wind turbines to
make electrical power, windmills for mechanical power, wind
pumps for water pumping or drainage, or sails to propel
ships.
III.Geothermal Energy- Electricity can be generated by
geothermal energy. Technologies in use include dry steam
power plants, flash steam power plants and binary cycle
power plants.
IV. Bio Energy-Bioenergyisrenewable energymade available
from materials derived from biological sources. As a fuel it
may include wood, wood waste, straw, manure, sugarcane,
and many other byproducts from a variety of agricultural

6.Conclusion
Google is creating a better web that's
better for the environment. Google
greening their company by using
resources efficiently and supporting
renewable power. That means when you
use Google products, youre being better
to the environment.
Google products provide over 100 billion
searches every month, map information for
over 1 billion monthly users, and host over
5 million businesses in the cloud. In
addition to being carbon neutral, Googles
products can help you reduce your impact
