Integrating the S7-1200 into your Product Lifecycle

The S7-1200 product family will be launched in several
phases
During each phase, more functionality/products will be added to the
family.
It will take some time before the S7-1200 can realize all the
application spaces that the S7-200 can accomplish today.

The S7-200 system family is an important part of our

mainstream product range and the system will remain
available as a mainstream product at least up to 2012.
